University of Health and Science to be set up

(KPL) The current Faculty of Medical Science will develop into the University of Health and Science.

The announcement was made by the Ministry of Public Health following the signing of an agreement on the transfer of the Medical Science Faculty, National University of Laos, to the Ministry of Public Health this week between Education Minister Prof. Dr Somkot Mangnormek and Public Health Minister Ponmek Dalaloy.

The emerging university will provide a broader curriculum in medicine, dentistry, nursing and laboratory practices, as well as other health and science majors.

Before the transfer, the Ministry of Public Health, the Faculty of Medical Science had been under the management of the National University of Laos for 11 years.

Deputy Prime Minister Mr Somsavat Lengsavad, and representatives of relevant authorities witnessed the transfer ceremony.

ວິຊາຄະນິດສາດໄດ້ແກ່ ທ້າວ ວ່າມົວ, ນັກຮຽນຊັ້ນ ມສ ວຽງຈັນ ນະຄອນຫລວງວຽງຈັນ ໄດ້ຄະແນນ 9,5.

ປະເພດIວິຊາພາສາລາວ-ວັນນະຄະດີ ໄດ້ແກ່ ທ້າວ ໄຊຍະສິນ ພົມມະຈັນ, ນັກຮຽນຊັ້ນ ມສ ໂຮງຮຽນກ້າວໜ້າ ນະຄອນຫລວງວຽງຈັນ ໄດ້ຄະແນນ 8,7.

ວິຊາຄະນິດສາດ ແມ່ນ ທ້າວ ດາທໍ ເພຍຫລວງ ນັກຮຽນ ມສ ຫລັກ 52 ແຂວງວຽງຈັນ ຄະແນນ 5,25.

ວິຊາພາສາລາວ-ວັນນະຄະດີ ທ້າວ ຈັນສະມຸດ ສາຍພາກພູມ ນັກຮຽນຊັ້ນ ມສ ໂຮງຮຽນຕົ້ນເຜີ້ງ ແຂວງບໍແກ້ວ ຄະແນນ 7,9.

ວິຊາເຄມີ ໄດ້ແກ່ ທ້າວ ວຽງໄຊ ມສ ສັນຕິພາບ ແຂວງຫລວງພະບາງ ເສັງໄດ້ຄະແນນ 7,

ວິຊາຟິຊິກສາດ ແມ່ນ ນາງ ອາລິຍາ ບູລົມ ນັກຮຽນ ມສ ສະຫວັນ ແຂວງສະຫວັນນະເຂດ

ວິຊາຄະນິດສາດ ແມ່ນທ້າວ ເຊັ່ງວ່າງ ນັກຮຽນຊັ້ນ ມ​ໍປາຍ ໂພນສະຫວັນ ແຂວງຊຽງແຂວງ ໄດ້ຄະແນນ3,5.

ວິຊາພາສາລາວ-ວັນນະຄະດີ ແມ່ນນາງ ບຸນເຮືອງ ໂພສານ ມສ ໂພນໄຊ ແຂວງຈຳປາສັກ ໄດ້ຄະແນນ 7,3. ວິຊາເຄມີສາດ ໄດ້ແກ່ ນາງ ສາຍສຸລິທອນ ສໍປະເສີດ ມສ ສະຫວັນ ແຂວງສະຫວັນນະເຂດ ໄດ້ຄະແນນ 6,

(KPL) The Embassy of Japan in Laos held a send-off reception at the Embassy on 30 March for 26 Lao students, who have won scholarships from the Government of Japan under the annual Monbukagakusho scholarship scheme. The students will leave for Japan between 2- 3 April... more

The 26 students will study in different subjects and levels, including two students tol do Philosophy Doctorate in finance, management geological and environment, five master degrees in studying Japanese language, finance, economy, trade, international commerce law, a bachelor scholarship and 15 higher education scholarships.
All students have passed hard selection exam. The Japanese Government provides scholarships to good Lao students to study in Japan, which aims to help Laos in human resource development and boosts relation and co-operation between Laos and Japan.

The function was attended by Dr. Ponemek Dalaloy, Minister of Public Heath who is also President of the Laos-Japan Friendship Association, Mr. Litou Bouabao, Deputy Minister of Education, Mr. Kazuhiro FUJIMURA Charge d’Affaires a.i. of Japan and guests.
