Briefly, it is about wildly copy leaflet a make to believe that during the time of Thai invasion Laos they wanted to take emerald Buddha but they could not lift it. it was very heavy then they promise 5 things that when Lao is in peace they will return. since they never keep they promise so they have to face the cures that they have made like political unrest and man made/natural disaster as today. but all of this story there is no evident it is a make up story to make Lao angry and to blame Thai on dishonest. the leaflet say if you copy and disseminate it you will be lucky and could win lottery.
there are many people in Lao strongly believe on this and this could be political propaganda for Laos to hate Thai. this kind of thing is made up to make use of non information people and could have a quick result.

The Emerald Buddha was given to a Lao King during Lao Lan Xang.
Chaing Mai are of Lanna Kingdom. Lanna and Lanxang are related. Look at the name of the Kingdoms. Lanna Kingdom speak Lao and eat Lao food. The are not Siamese and later became THAI. They are Lao, brainwashed to be Siamese and later Thai.
Lanna Kingdom are not "Thai". The Siamese took Chaing Mai(LAO). Took North East Isan(Lao). JEk Siamese forced them to be THai (Thainification). The Siam changed to Thailand in 1939. The biggest threat to Lao culture and existence are the Jek Siamese in Bangkok. They want to destroy Lao people and culture.
The Jek Thai has convinced the Isan of Lao ethnic to whorship their Jek King Bhumibol.
Jek Taksin, Jek Chakri or Rama1 are all commoners. They made themselves King. So Jek Bhumibol are not the real King of Lao , Tai , malaysia or Khmer of Surin in Thailand.
